NOFIRNO
Wherever metallic pipes and or cables have to be sealed RISE/NOFIRNO offer the ultimate solution – the ultimate in fire ratings, the shortest installation times and maintenance friendly.
Even combined penetrations for metal and plastic pipes as well as cables can be sealed effectively. One system for all types of penetrations! This multi-all-mix system is approved for any combination of cable, metallic, GRP or plastic pipes and has a service life of over 20 years.
Needless to say that the NOFIRNO system offers the best Total Cost of Ownership on the market of sealing systems.
RISE/NOFIRNO
Is fire safe as well as gas and water tight systems. The system is approved for the harshest fire ratings for pipe penetrations (A, H and Jet Fire class) and allows substantial movement of the ducted pipe within the conduit.
The high pressure ratings allow the system to be used for gas and/or watertight penetrations as well. To obtain the required watertightness no compression is needed. The system has no metal parts thus avoiding corrosion on the pipe work. The perfect sealing of the NOFIRNO sealant also avoids (invisible) corrosion within the penetration.
Typical application areas:
- shipbuilding and retrofitting
- offshore installations
- building and construction
- other environments where the safety of people and installations has to be guaranteed.
Features:
- Approved for harshest fire ratings for pipe penetrations (A, H and Jet Fire class).
- Allows substantial movement of the ducted pipe within the conduit.
- High pressure ratings – designed for gas and/or watertight penetrations.
- Prevents corrosion inside the penetration.
- Longest service life and best Total Cost of Ownership on the market.
- NOFIRNO® rubber sleeves and sealant will remain stable and not be consumed by fire.
- Breakthrough – MULTI-ALL-MIX SYSTEM®
- Approved for any combination of cable, metallic,
GRP or plastic pipes!
RISE
RISE is the fire resistant sealing system of choice for cable and pipe penetrations. Fast and simple to install with its smart system design and extremely limited number of component parts. Future enlargements can be effortlessly completed with RISE. It’s not for nothing that many shipyards world-wide call RISE the RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM.
The severity of testing undergone world-wide by the RISE system is unmatched by any other system. On this basis it has been awarded certificates guaranteeing optimized fire safety. In the light of this extremely tough test programme the US and British navies have approved the RISE system for application on board of their vessels.
RISE extension frame
An be supplied for the purpose of ‘upgrading’ existing installations to the RISE system. This frame not only improves fire resistance but also creates a substantial improvement in ducting capacity.
Application
- shipbuilding and retrofitting
- offshore installations
- building and construction
- other environments where the safety of people and installations has to be guaranteed.
Features
- For fire, gas, smoke and watertight sealing of multi-cable penetrations.
- Compact system. No precise fitting parts.
- No metal parts, no corrosion.
- Most cost-effective way of installation.
- No pre-engineering or special conduit frames.
- No restrictions on cable types and sizes, no insulation in front of the penetration needed.
- Adding or removing cables an easy matter.
- RISE-Extender frame for upgrading block systems – doubles the usable space!
- Proven – new and upgraded installations
- The system of choice in shipyards worldwide for almost 20 years!
CRUSHER
The most simple and effective RISE/ULTRA technology makes the CRUSHER system applicable for all plastic pipe penetrations. The RISE/ULTRA C-fit crushers squeeze down and seal opening during a fire. For oversized conduit sleeves RISE/ULTRA wraps are available. During fire exposure the RISE/ULTRA compound forms an adhesive mass.
CRUSHER system
Is approved for a multiple mixture of all kinds of plastic pipes. The crushers or wraps are combined with the NOFIRNO sealant that adheres well to plastics and offers a high degree of water tightness.
Typical application areas
- hipbuilding and retrofitting
- offshore installations
- building and construction
- other environments where the safety of people and installations has to be guaranteed.
Features
- Most simple and effective system for all plastic pipe penetrations.
- RISE®/ULTRA C-FIT crushers squeeze down and seal opening during a fire.
- RISE®/ULTRA wraps for to be used for oversized conduit sleeves.
- NOFIRNO® sleeves for filling larger spaces.
- NOFIRNO® sealant adheres well to plastics: high degree of water tightness feasible.
- Breakthrough – adhesion under fire load
- RISE®/ULTRA compound forms an adhesive mass during fire exposure!
- Approved for a multiple mixture of all kinds of plastic pipes.
SLIPSIL
SLIPSIL plugs cause no mechanical stress and avoid corrosion problems. That offers owners of ships or buildings the possibility to save on maintenance costs.
The service life of the SLIPSIL plugs easily exceeds 20 years under normal environmental conditions. The plugs can be used in a very wide temperature range. Even at low temperatures down to -50° C the rubber stays flexible and does not harden excessively as other rubber types will do. This guarantees tightness even at low temperatures. The rubber can also be used in applications up to +180° C. A single rubber grade is now capable of satisfying almost all sealing conditions.
SLIPSIL
- Designed to provide fire safe, gas and watertight seals for pipe penetrations
- For transits carrying single or multiple metal pipes with the same diameter (hydraulic and pneumatic lines)
- Installs in a couple of minutes. Lubricate and push – that’s it!
- No bolting or other mechanical devices required
- Absorbs mechanical stresses, vibration and prevents galvanic corrosion problems
- Wide temperature range: -50 °C up to +180 °C
- Proven – simple installation, high performance
- The system of choice in the building industry worldwide for almost 4 decades!
Typical areas of application:
- construction industry
- shipbuilding
- offshore sector
- oil and gas industry
- (petro)chemicals industry
- utility companies
DYNATITE
The DYNATITE sealing plugs were developed for applications where a high degree of (instantaneous) tightness is required. The DYNATITE plugs are compressible;the high-tech design of DYNATITE actually allows the system to get tighter as the pressure increases.
The plugs can easily withstand shock pressure loads of more than 150 psi (10 bar) and will return to their original shape after shock pressure. The dynamic compression of the plug is based on the high-tech rubber grade and the engineered profiling.
DYNATITE
Was specially developed for application in columns in semi-submersible offshore rigs, following incidents where traditional cable transit systems suffered catastrophic failure under high pressure.
Typical application:
- columns of offshore oil rigs
- environments where penetrations may be suddenly exposed to extreme conditions
- partitions between hazardous and non-hazardous areas
- blast walls
- explosion-proof areas
- regions with elevated hurricane and tsunami risks
Features
- For applications where a high degree of (instantaneous) tightness is required
- Dynamic sealing when a disaster occurs
- Plugs are compressible and will return to their original shape after shock pressure
- Easily withstands shock pressure loads up to 15 bar (210 psi)
- Ideal solution for cable and pipe transits in subsea and explosion proof installations
- Breakthrough – dynamic compression
- Based on high-tech rubber grade and engineered profiling, the DYNATITE plugs can be substantially compressed and gets tighter with excessive pressure
ULEPSI
The ULEPSI tank support is designed for application on board sea-going carriers for the transport of products which, for reasons of viscosity, have to be maintained at a high temperature (asphalt, coal tar, creosote, etc.).
The layered
And compression-resistant construction of this tank support ensures that the temperature is gradually reduced, in order to relieve strains caused by large temperature differences between the tank wall and sea-water.
